Life was a lot for us this past week with the downpours we got everyday and as yall know, farm life doesn't slow down just because rain happens and mud happens and you experience power outages and all of that so we are so sorry to have kept you waiting.

But... its on the shelf now and we are taking more on Wednesday!

All orders must be placed by Tuesday evening and we can not accept late orders.

For just $13 delivery with no order minimum, you can have your favorite farm-fresh products delivered right to your doorstep.

• Borrow one of ours on an exchange basis.

If you receive one of our Styrofoam coolers with this week's order, simply leave it out on your porch with your next order and we'll swap it out for you.

Eggciting news just hatched

🥚 EGG UPDATE 🥚

First off, THANK YOU.

The support you all have shown for our farm and store has been incredible. Lately, we've been selling out of eggs before 2:00 PM on most days we're open, and while that's an amazing problem to have, we know it's frustrating when you make the trip and we are already sold out.

Because of that, we're growing.

Right now, we're headed northeast—straight toward some pretty rough weather on the radar—to pick up 1,000 laying hens. These girls are about 18 weeks old and should begin laying within the next 3-4 weeks.

Once they're in production, we'll be collecting close to 100 dozen eggs every single day, which should help us keep eggs in stock and meet the growing demand from our customers.

For the next few weeks, we ask for a little patience. If eggs are on your shopping list, we recommend coming earlier in the day while we work through this transition period.

As for us, we're loading up the trailer, bringing these girls home, and driving through the night. Traveling overnight allows us to keep them more comfortable and avoid hauling them during the hottest part of the day. Their comfort and well-being are our top priority.

We're excited about this next step and grateful that your support has made growth like this possible. We can't wait to get these ladies settled in and producing eggs for our community.

This is the meat bundle that is available in store Thursday through Sunday this week and available for home delivery next Thursday.

We are going to be updating the bundle every Thursday morning and we are unable to provide any substitutions. We have heard from a lot of folks that they are interested in bundles that do not include pork so we are going to offer one of our bundles monthly that is pork free. HOME DELIVERY UPDATE 📣

We wanted to give everyone plenty of notice about an upcoming change to our home delivery schedule!

Beginning next week, ALL HOME DELIVERIES will move from Tuesday to Thursday. And, we have added some NEW ZIP CODES to our service area!

Over the last couple of weeks, we've learned a lot while working with our delivery partner. While having drivers on the road has been incredibly helpful, we've found ourselves making multiple trips back and forth between the farm and the store throughout delivery day since the store serves as the pickup location. By moving deliveries to Thursday, we'll already be at the store all day to make receiving returned jars, ice packs, and coolers, much more efficient for both our team and our delivery drivers.

✅ Delivery Day: Thursday
✅️ Delivery Time Frame: 8am to 4pm

We're also excited to announce that we'll be rolling out a new weekly meat bundle every Thursday! This will make meal planning easier and help you know exactly what's available before placing your order. If you have any questions about what to expect in your meat bundle please reach out BEFORE ordering. We are unable to make substitutions in weekly bundles and if you dont want something- please wait until the next week to see if that offering may fit the needs of your family better.

We wanted to make sure everyone had plenty of time to plan ahead for next week's delivery. Thank you for your patience as we continue to fine-tune this service and make it the best experience possible for our customers. We knew we would have some growing pains as we navigate this partnership- its a big step and we so appreciate yall being along for the ride.

Here's a new update about home deliveries.

Please make sure to tell your husband, your mama and your kids to keep the coolers and the ice packs that are delivered today with your home delivery so that we can recycle and reuse those for future deliveries. 🤣

For next week you will keep the cooler and ice packs from today and leave it on your porch....if you're a milk customer you'll put your clean jars and lids in the cooler with the ice packs and the delivery driver next week will pick that up with your return jars. If you have any questions about the cooler and ice pack Exchange program please let me know.

We are getting all of your home deliveries prepped and ready to go out tomorrow with the Vamo drivers, and the coolers are lined up, ready to be stocked and hit the road.

Our delivery freezer is completely full right now—packed with fresh meats, eggs, and all your farm favorites heading straight to your porches tomorrow across Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Escambia County 🚛❄️ milk will be jarred in the morning and head straight to those coolers!!

This is what it looks like when your community shows up big and trusts us to feed their families well. We don’t take that lightly.

BIG EGG FLOCK UPDATE! 🥚

This Thursday, the McFadyens are headed to Georgia to pick up the next round of our laying hens!

These are 18-week-old pullets that are expected to begin laying within the next *3–4 weeks*. They have been raised on non-GMO feed their entire lives, have full beaks, and come from a salmonella-tested, NPIP-certified flock. We're bringing home all of the required paperwork to ensure they meet state requirements and are prove that these are healthy, quality birds.

We're picking up 1,000 hens- which is quite a bit more than we need for our own flock! Rather than leave fellow farmers searching for good replacement birds, we'd love to help local farms and homesteads looking to add to their egg flock or replace older hens that are slowing down in production.
