It is an honor to be featured in the Women Entrepreneurs issue by Destin City Lifestyle.
This recognition comes at a very meaningful time. This year has been one of reflection, growth, and a deeper appreciation for all the paths that have led here. Turning 60 has not felt like a milestone to slow down, but rather a reminder of how much more there is to give, to build, and to experience on this great earth. Covenant Cookie Creations LLC has never just been about cookies. It has always been about people, connection, and the small moments that bring joy into someone’s day.
Looking back, there have been countless early mornings, long nights, and moments of wondering what comes next. But there has also been so much purpose in the work. Every order carries a story. Every event is an opportunity to be part of something bigger than just a cookie. That is what continues to make this journey as an entrepreneur so fulfilling.
Being included alongside so many strong, thoughtful, and driven women is incredibly humbling. There is something powerful about women supporting one another, building businesses with intention, and creating real impact within their communities. The conversations, the shared experiences, and the encouragement along the way from so many I have met have meant more than words can fully express.
There is also something important that deserves to be said. It does not matter what stage of life you are in. It is never too late to start something new, to take a chance, or to grow into something you did not expect for yourself. Passion does not have an expiration date, and purpose often shows up when you are willing to follow what you love.
To who has supported Covenant Cookie Creations, whether through an order, a kind word, a referral, or simply believing in what this represents, thank you. This journey has never been done alone, and it would not be what it is today without this community.
