Hey friends! Happy Memorial Day weekend! ☀️🌧️

No complaints about this rain over here — we’ve needed it more than most realize. It’s giving the fields a good drink and forcing us all into a much-needed break from the nonstop Maycember hustle. Sometimes the best thing is exactly this: slowing down so we can remember what really matters.

We’re open all weekend at The Farmers Market, 9am to 6pm, fully stocked with all your favorites - Fresh Baked Pies, Jersey Strawberries & Asparagus, Tomatoes, Corn, peaches and farm raised meat. Come escape the chaos for a bit, grab some fresh goodies, and enjoy the slower pace with us.

Some days on the farm test every ounce of your resolve.

You're knee-deep in mud hauling feed, chasing escape-artist chickens who suddenly decide freedom means braving a full-on blizzard, swinging an axe to break ice on the waterers three times before breakfast, and getting absolutely drenched in sideways rain just to make sure everyone is tucked in safe and dry for the night.

Those moments hit hard. You catch yourself wondering why you signed up for this life, why you didn't pick something easier, drier, warmer.

Then the sun breaks through.

The sky clears, the birds start scratching happily in the fresh green pasture again, the flock spreads out like they own the place (because they kind of do), and that deep, quiet peace settles in. The kind that says: this is exactly where you're meant to be.

All the hard days fade into the background when you remember why — raising happy, healthy birds the right way, bringing real pasture raised chicken and the richest eggs to folks who stop by the market.
