🤠🌶️ LOCO OKIE SALSA COMPANY — AN IMPORTANT UPDATE & A LOOK AHEAD TO 2027! 🌶️🤠

THE OUTLAW AIN'T RIDING OFF INTO THE SUNSET JUST YET!

Howdy, Loco Okie Family!

As we approach the end of 2026, I wanted to personally share an update about Loco Okie Salsa Company, reflect on what we've accomplished this year, and let everyone know what lies ahead.

Since founding Loco Okie Salsa Company in May 2025, it's been one incredible journey. We've experienced exciting milestones, tremendous support, and, like many small businesses, our share of unexpected challenges.

Over the past several months, some personal and business circumstances have required me to make a few difficult decisions.

One of those decisions was to temporarily close our online store and pause additional salsa production while I focus on reorganizing the business and building a stronger financial foundation for the future.
But make no mistake — Loco Okie Salsa Company is NOT going out of business!

🏆🌶️ 2026 — WHAT AN INCREDIBLE YEAR! 🌶️🏆

Despite the challenges, 2026 has been an amazing year for our little Oklahoma salsa company!

We're incredibly proud to have received THREE awards recognizing our company and our salsa!

🏆 BEST SALSA COMPANY OF 2026 Pepperman Awards

🥇 1ST PLACE — BEST MEDIUM SALSA Blazing for the Brave

🥇 1ST PLACE — EXTREMELY HOT SALSA CAP Awards

To receive this kind of recognition so early in our company's journey is truly an honor.

These awards represent the hard work, dedication, and passion that have gone into building Loco Okie Salsa Company from the ground up.

And they're a reminder of why we started this journey in the first place!

🤠🌶️ SO WHAT'S NEXT FOR LOCO OKIE SALSA COMPANY?

As we finish out 2026, our retail partners will continue selling the remaining inventory currently available on their shelves.

Once those jars are gone, some locations may temporarily be out of stock.

Our goal for early 2027 is to:

🌶️ Resume salsa production.

🌶️ Begin restocking our retail partners.

🌶️ Reopen our online store so customers can once again order their favorite salsa directly from us.

🌶️ Continue building a stronger, more sustainable future for Loco Okie Salsa Company.

This temporary slowdown isn't the end of our story. It's simply an opportunity to regroup, rebuild, and prepare for the next chapter.

❤️ A HEARTFELT THANK YOU!

To every customer who has purchased a jar, recommended our salsa, shared our posts, or supported our small business — THANK YOU!
To our retail partners who believed in our products and gave us an opportunity to earn a place on your shelves, I sincerely appreciate your continued support.

And to everyone who has encouraged us along the way, your support has meant more than words can express.

Building a small business takes determination, patience, and a whole lot of faith.

We've accomplished some incredible things in a short amount of time, and I truly believe the best is still ahead of us.

Until then, if you see Loco Okie Salsa at one of our retail locations, be sure to grab a jar while supplies last!

🤠🔥 THE OUTLAW AIN'T DONE RIDING — HE'S JUST RELOADING FOR 2027!

Thank you for being part of our journey.

What an incredible second year for the CAPS Awards!

Yesterday’s judging was a tremendous success, and I could not be more grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. Our judges worked incredibly hard, carefully evaluating every entry with thoughtfulness, fairness, and dedication. The time, energy, and expertise they gave throughout the day were truly appreciated.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to every company that participated and submitted entries. Your creativity, passion, and commitment to excellence have helped the CAPS Awards grow into something truly special. This amazing second-year success would not have been possible without your support and enthusiasm.

A huge thank-you to Matt Stewart and Maggie Stewart for providing palate cleansers, water, lemonade, and other snacks that helped our judges refresh their taste buds between entries.

Thank you to Amy Bedwell for generously providing additional drinks and snacks for everyone. Your kindness and support were greatly appreciated!

Maggie Stewart and Amy Bedwell also deserve an incredibly special thank-you for working tirelessly to keep the sauces flowing smoothly throughout the entire day. Neither of them sat down as they carefully and professionally managed the steady stream of entries for our judges. Their tremendous effort, organization, and dedication kept the entire judging process moving forward. They truly carried the CAPS Awards judging on their shoulders, and I cannot adequately express how much their hard work meant to me and everyone involved.

A special thank-you to Jay Savage for providing ANTI SPICE to help alleviate the intense effects of the super-hot sauces. When the heat reached its highest levels, having Anti-Spice available was incredibly helpful and greatly appreciated by our judges!

We must also recognize the fearless members of our judging team who bravely took on the Super Hot Sauce category: Ben Verbanic, Jeremiah Johnson, Matt Mottor, Jay Savage, The Reaper Teacher Annee Boyer, Matt Stewart, Jared Hamilton, Eric SpicyRunner Rice, and Captain Capsaicin Coty Ewing! These judges faced some truly intense heat, yet they remained focused, professional, and committed to giving every sauce a fair and thoughtful evaluation. Your courage, endurance, and dedication went above and beyond, and we sincerely appreciate each of you for accepting the ultimate spicy challenge!

A very special thank-you to Chef Matt Mottor for preparing an amazing Mexican lunch for everyone in attendance. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect meal during such a busy day of judging!

I also want to recognize Jay Savage and Amy Bedwell for staying long after the judging ended—until the wee hours of the morning—to help clean everything up. That kind of commitment and willingness to keep working after an already long day speaks volumes about both of you. I truly appreciate everything you did.

Reaching this milestone in only our second year is incredibly exciting—and we are just getting started! We have great things planned for the coming months and into next year. We cannot wait to continue growing, celebrating this incredible industry, and making next year’s CAPS Awards even bigger and more memorable.

To every judge, participating company, volunteer, supporter, and friend who contributed to this event: thank you from the bottom of my heart. I could not be more pleased with everyone involved or more appreciative of the extraordinary effort you gave to make this year’s CAPS Awards judging such an amazing success.

The future is bright, and next year’s CAPS Awards will be even more incredible!
