Hometown feels. 🥹🤍

There’s something extra special about seeing Free and Simple Foods on the shelves at the Meijer in Rochester Hills, our hometown community.

What started in my kitchen has now made its way into the grocery stores right here where we live, and I honestly don’t take that for granted.

We’re so grateful to be partnering with Meijer and incredibly excited for what this next chapter brings. Two new Meijer locations in just two days… and this one feels a little more personal. 🛒✨

🎉 WE’RE IN MEIJER GROCERY STORES! 🎉

This is a pretty exciting milestone for Free and Simple Foods!

We are officially expanding into Meijer’s grocery-format stores, and our first location is the Livonia Meijer, which is having its grand opening tomorrow! 🛒🎉

What makes this especially exciting is that this started with a conversation, a few connections, and people who were willing to give a small Michigan brand a chance.

A HUGE thank you to Todd, Shannon, Mauricio, and Staci for helping make this opportunity possible and for believing in Free and Simple Foods. I’m incredibly grateful for each of you!

And this is just the beginning…

I can’t wait to see where we go from here!

Freshly baked, simply made, and always worth the crunch.

For almost 8 years, I didn't eat hummus.
Not because I didn't love it, but because traditional hummus is made with tahini, and it's an ingredient my body just doesn't tolerate.

So my mom and I set out to create a version that I could enjoy.
After some experimenting, we came up with this tahini-free hummus, and let me tell you... that first bite after all those years was worth the wait.

One of the best things about this recipe is that it's completely customizable. Think of the measurements as your starting point; you can always add a little more lemon for brightness, more garlic for extra flavor, or another pinch of salt until it's just right for you.
And of course, it’s even better paired with Free and Simple Foods crackers! 🧡 The creamy hummus with our crunchy, grain-free crackers makes the perfect snack, appetizer, or addition to a charcuterie board.

Recipes don't have to be complicated to be delicious. Sometimes, a few simple ingredients and a little creativity are all it takes to bring back a favorite.

Some places are more than just a store… they’re part of your story. 💚

I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to share that Free and Simple Foods is now available at The Alternative Health Care Center of Grosse Pointe Woods!

This one is extra special because Grosse Pointe Woods is where I grew up, and the Alternative Health Care Center is the very place where my family and I go for our own health and wellness care. To now have our crackers and granola sitting on their shelves feels like such a full-circle moment.

When I started Free and Simple Foods, my goal was simple: create snacks made with clean, simple ingredients that everyone can enjoy, whether you’re focused on gut health, reading labels, managing food sensitivities, or just looking for a better-tasting snack.

Having our products available in a place that has been part of my family’s wellness journey is truly meaningful.

Some people call it luck... I call it a blessing. ❤️

One of the greatest gifts that has come from my journey with Free and Simple Foods has been the incredible people I've met along the way.

After completing our project together, this amazing team from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business chose to continue supporting Free and Simple Foods as my advisory board. I honestly couldn't be more honored, grateful, or excited.

To know that five incredibly talented individuals believe in what I'm building enough to continue investing their time, ideas, and expertise means more than I can put into words.

I'm especially grateful to Len Middleton for bringing us together and for joining our meeting. Thank you, Len, for your continued encouragement and belief in both me and Free and Simple Foods.

To my "Dream Team", thank you for believing in this vision. I can't wait to continue building the future of Free and Simple Foods together.

✨ Another airport, another milestone.
Because of the success of Free and Simple Foods at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), we're excited to announce that we've expanded into MEEL at Nashville International Airport (BNA)! 🎉
You can now find our Rosemary and Sea Salt Crackers in Concourse C near Gate C14.
As a small, founder-owned business, opportunities like this don't happen by chance. They happen because customers continue to choose our products, and partners believe in what we're building.
I'm especially excited because MEEL's focus on premium, thoughtfully curated products aligns so well with our mission of creating snacks made with clean, simple ingredients that taste incredible.
