Having lambs born on the farm is easily one of the greatest blessings to witness as a farmer. Scratch that, as a human. Everyone should get to experience the pure joy, sweetness, and peace that sheep bring to this world.

PS, we’ve officially named this little ewe lamb: meet Hoodsie. 🥰 Named after the iconic sweet treat that every kid in New England knows and loves, the Hoodsie Cup!!

We have a new addition on the farm!! This little cutie was born this morning and she was a very welcome surprise for us! Guess we didn’t need that ultrasound after all. 😆

Remember when we said we were done raising wool sheep? Well that lasted exactly 25 days. 🙈 Meet our newest ladies!

These girls are 50% East Friesian and 50% Icelandic which makes them 100% dairy sheep! We are looking forward to milking them in the spring and having lots of cheese, yogurt, and milk to fill our fridge with.

Did you know that many well known cheese varieties are actually made with sheep’s milk? Feta, Ricotta, Pecorino Romano, and Roquefort are a few common ones!

Stop by the farm stand to grab some free samples of natural worm castings fertilizer for your garden made by Bob at Bang Bang’s Worm Poo Poo!

Bob outdid himself by providing signage for us to display and everything. His sign provides instructions for how to use the samples:
1. Dig hole
2. Add sample
3. Plant. Plant.
4. Water

It’s that simple! If you like working with the samples you can buy a container of this fertilizer for $10/each or you can buy a large bag for $30.
