This one has a little Midwest story behind it.

Korea Kimchee is made by Chicago Kimchee in Franklin Park, Illinois, a longtime Korean kimchi producer serving the Chicago area. In Korean business directories, they’re known as 빛고을 맛김치 — Bitgoeul Mat Kimchi.

This isn’t some giant national brand trying to imitate Korean flavor. It comes from a small regional producer that has spent years making traditional-style kimchi right here in the Midwest.

Customers who know the brand praise it for that crunchy, tangy, properly seasoned Korean kimchi flavor — plenty of seasoning, plenty of character, and enough heat to let you know you’re eating kimchi.
