Hi, my name is Cade Stephen. I started Sunshine Acres Family Farm in 2017 right here in Alto, MI. We’re a first-generation family farm!

I’m currently looking to rent cropland for the 2026 growing season and beyond! Paying competitive cash rent.

We are actively looking in the Alto, Caledonia, Lowell, Clarksville, Freeport, and surrounding areas.

I’m not just looking for acres, I’m looking for long-term relationships with landowners who want their ground cared for the right way.

We focus heavily on soil health and fertility, treat every field like it’s our own, and communicate openly and honestly. I’m happy to offer competitive cash rent or work out a crop-share arrangement that makes sense for everyone. I’m also willing to travel farther for larger pieces of ground.
