From Hive to Home, that simple.
When we started packaging our honey, we saw that there was a good amount of honeycomb available on the market.
However, most of it was made with honey that was of the more “plentiful” varieties. Yes, you could make tons of honeycomb that way, but the end result was a product which was less uniform in color, much darker, and prone to crystalization. The texture and taste would also take away from honeycomb experience.
We wanted to stand out. We wanted to produce a product with a distinct floral nectar from our region, and we wanted to use premium honey.
That’s why we chose the Orange Blossom nectar as our source. Distinct to California, decadent in taste, and a beautiful addition to any table or board.
