There was a time I would have been so embarrassed to show you this garden pic. Messy yard, grass too high, timing wrong, etc. Now, I just ask for some gentle grace. Because life is hard and we all know it.

YET this garden is beautiful and producing great things. Not the least of which is natural, healing herbs that are helping all of us including our medically complex little lady.

One day I dream of Williamsburg, VA or European worthy garden glory. But until then I’ll steal every moment I can to tend this one - as it’s fed and been healing to our entire family and many friends.

If you’re willing - ask questions. I’d love to start talking herbs and flowers and natural remedies with you. They’re God’s gifts to all of us! 🌿 🪴 🌱

I know to some these pictures don’t mean much. But to me - they’re the start of “New Beginnings” as God promised my husband and I a year ago. There’s much to be told, many stories to unfold, but for now - know we are excited at God’s refreshed direction in our lives.

We learn year by year, month by month, day by day - and yes, sometimes minute by minute. May we ever find Joy in every part of this life’s journey.

Thank you to the friends and family who have stood by us in our ‘silence’ - seeing us and knowing us while we wrestled through life this past year plus. You are precious to us!

Cranberry Orange Loaf. Oh my word - it’s divine! I shy away from tooting my own horn, but in this case I just have to share because I’m so excited. Best starter ever, turns into amazing bakes.

I guess I had to join the homesteading sourdough trend sooner or later! 🤣

Thank you to my sweet sister Bethany Blackwell for my starter - whom I’ve affectionately named “Livy”. She’s definitely lively ♥️

We’ve had some very yummy sourdough bakes recently in FaithView Farm’s kitchen and I’m so excited to keep learning and trying new recipes.

Pics - because who doesn’t love to see starter rising, bubbly dough, and delicious treats?!

JUNE KIDS CAMP!

Our weekend was very full last weekend - Easter and our goatie gals had their babies!!! Two sets of triplets!!

Well time flies… flies when you’re having fun, flies when you’re overwhelmed, flies when you blink and flies when you feel like you’re in slow motion.

Time has flown for us here at FVF and again I find myself lacking in updating posts. For those of you who know us and love us, you know the myriad of reasons why the posts have not come frequently. For those of you who don’t - I ask for some grace and understanding. And know that my full intention is to be better. BUT I’m giving myself grace in remembering I have a lot on my plate with three littles and one with medical complexities. And we’ll get through it together! 🙌🏻

Now. With that said - and all the time flying by - the big, fun news is that our Mavis is showing some signs of labor! Hopefully within the next few hours to days we’ll have some cute mini-Nubian floppy eared babies!!! 😍
