A cold day of Freezin' for a Reezin' is just around the corner, and soon the calm will be replaced by community members doing amazing things. The 17th annual Freezin' for a Reezin' Radiothon starts at 7:30 this morning. Local schools will fill this space, broadcasting live on air and throughout the building as they sing their favorite Christmas songs! WCMY is proud to uphold beloved traditions, representing Community, Music and You! Tune in all day at 93.5FM 1430AM. All good and monetary donations can easily be made at 216 W Lafayette St. until 4pm with the convenient drive through lane out front. Stop by and say hi to all our Celebrity Collectors throughout the day! ❄️🎶🎄🛒🛍️🥶

How wonderful!

This mornings update from Marissa, the Director at the Ottawa Community Food Basket Freezin for a Reezin total is $57,770. WCMY is still collecting at the station through January 10th for food and monetary. We all can't thank you enough.

As of 1:30pm 12/18/24 the total for Freezin' for a Reezin' has reached $57,222! We are thankful for all food and monetary donations thus far. Collecting will continue through January 10th, 2025. 🥶 🛒🛍️

WCMY will still be collecting monetary donations, Non perishable food and essential items until January 10th exclusively for Freezin' for a Reezin'. If you'd like to make a donation drop by the radio station weekdays from 8:30 to 11:30am. We are using our conference room as a storage room for donated goods and the OCFB staff will do pick ups. We are beyond grateful, thankful and blessed for all our Local Celebrity Collectors...we are now more than covered for the day.
Thank you all! See everyone tomorrow.

In about 39 hours we will begin our 16th annual day long event for Freezin' for a Reezin'! We are looking for a few more local Celebrity Collectors (yes you) for one hour shifts.
