The Frost Advisory did not affected our plants...Tomatoes are coming on nicely and as you see they are in the dirt in wide open spaces as well as the Onions which are more cool weather hardy..still a lil wet to get in there and transplant more plants just yet....Don't Forget Famers Market in Gallatin starts May 23rd I believe 😁

I love drinking cleaver juice! It definitely adds a pep to my step! Cleavers (Galium aparine) contain silica, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, flavonoids, tannins and chlorophyll. It's a nutritive herb that makes a great spring tonic for overall health and wellness.

Cleavers are used medicinally to help rejuvenate the skin & slow signs of aging, reduce inflammation in skin disorders, detox the body, drain the lymphatic system/decrease swollen glands, fight urinary tract infections/ help break up kidney stones/prostate issues, help fight cancer, and chickenpox/measles/fever.

To make juice: I use a cup of cleavers to about a half cup of water. Blend it up and strain it. That's it! Cleavers are best used fresh, so it's better to store them in the freezer than to dehydrate them. I usually make a good amount of juice and store it in the freezer.
