Even on the east coast, the west calls to me.

Projects made at the Weaving Retreat held by Jessie Mordine Young
•
Learning to weave around an object has opened my eyes to so many possibilities, and taking in her words and guidance has opened my heart in finding inspiration of my surroundings.

The weaving came from the way both the sky and the snow make me feel at the farm. Sometimes some messy weather that always seems to pass. And the barbed wire fence that is misunderstood, soft and hold what’s I love most safe inside its boundaries.

Picking fiber is the process of opening and removing vegetable matter out of already washed wool or fleece. Join us this Thursday to pick fiber, or practice any fiber art, together in Florence, Colorado.

This time we’ll be playing some games, including guessing mystery fibers from different animals and sheep breeds! 🐑🦙🐐🐰🐇

Join us for The Artists’ Gallery 15th Anniversary!

Every first Friday of the month, we gather at the gallery, practice our mediums and listen to live music. Tonight’s Friday is an extra special event.

We’re inviting the community to create art together, by adding to a blank canvas! Write a message, paint some colors, or even weave some fiber onto it!
•
Not only will we be raffling off pieces of art, the artists have discounted so many of their pieces. (All of my tapestries are 20% off 🩵, and you can win some of my candles, fiber nest balls and scrunchies.)
