“Life on the Farm Means Love—and Loss.”

No one warns you how much this life will pull on your heart.

We start with dreams of fresh farm goods, cute babies and quiet moments in the barn and garden. And sure—we get those. But sometimes along the way, we have find that we have a stronger connection to some of our animals. The hens who greet us every morning. The goat who follows us like a puppy. That one duck with more attitude than sense. 🦆

And then comes the part no one talks about.

The hawk. The sickness. The storm. The stillness.
Suddenly, the pasture feels emptier. The coop is too quiet. And you find yourself crying over a little life that left a big space.

That’s the part that catches you off guard.
That’s the part that hurts.

But that is also the part that lets us grow, evolve and teaches us to enjoy what we have, while we have it. ❤
