Most nuts make an incredibly healthy snack, and cashews are no different. Cashews are rich in fiber, protein, and healthy fats. They contain a variety of vitamins, minerals, and health-protective beneficial plant compounds, and may promote weight loss, blood sugar control, and heart health. Eating cashews even lowers your risk of gallstones!

Cashews are also incredibly buttery and delicious. I mean, who doesn’t like cashews? They’re easy to grab and go when you’re on the run, easy to transport (absolutely no mess or spoilage here), and there are so many ways to use them. Wonderful as a stand-alone snack, cashews can also be used in any number of recipes, improving both the taste and nutrition in your cooking and baking. Think Cashew Chicken, or a Chinese Chicken Salad with cashews to name just two. The possibilities are endless.

Planters Deluxe Whole Cashews are roasted in peanut oil for a satisfying crispy texture. I guarantee you won’t be able to eat just one!

If you’ve never tried dried fruit, Secret Garden’s Turkish Dried Apricots are a great place to start. They’re the highest quality, jumbo-size apricots, and apart from being delicious, consider these benefits.

Dried apricots contain high levels of nutrients. They’re good for your blood, heart, and skin. They’re diet friendly, and a great source of fiber. Gluten free, there is no sugar added. They’re a good source of Vitamin A, C, and E, and rich in calcium, potassium, iron, and phosphorus. Dried apricots are nutritious and low in calories, and high in antioxidants.

As if it isn’t enough that they’re delicious and incredibly good for you, dried apricots are also an excellent snack choice for someone on the go. Easy to store, grab, and carry, they make an excellent snack for hiking, camping, school lunches, work lunches, airplane rides -- you name it. MING REVOLUTION in the Mid-Autumn Festival
There is another folk tale about the overthrow of Mongol rule facilitated by messages smuggled in moon cakes.
Mooncakes were used by the Ming revolutionaries in their effort to overthrow the Mongol rulers of China at the end of the Yuan dynasty. The idea is said to have been conceived by Zhu, Yuanzhang and his advisor Liu, Bowen, who circulated a rumor that a deadly plague was spreading and that the only way to prevent it was to eat special mooncakes, which would instantly revive and give special powers to the user. This prompted the quick distribution of mooncakes. The mooncakes contained a secret message: on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, kill the rulers.
Another method of hiding a message was to print it on the surfaces of mooncakes (which came in packages of four), as a simple puzzle or mosaic. To read the message, each of the four mooncakes was cut into four parts. The resulting 16 pieces were pieced together to reveal the message. The pieces of Mooncake were then eaten to destroy the message.

Reading a story and taste a piece of mooncake that you buy in Mira’s Marketplace. 😉😋

October 1, 2020 is the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.
Every holiday or festival has its story or background. The stories and legends of the Mid=Autumn Festival are quite interesting. There are many magical legends explaining the origin of the festival. Read the most widespread stories about the Mid-Autumn Festival below.

Long ago there were ten suns in the sky. Because of this it was very hot! The blazing suns dried up the rivers and there was a serious drought. People were sunning out of water to drink and the cops in the rice fields were withering. A famous archer, Hou Yi, was summoned to shoot down 9 of the suns in the sky. He did it successfully and rewarded a “pill of immortality”. Hou Yi went home and gave the precious pill to his wife, Chang e for safekeeping. A visitor of the archer’s, however, heard about the pill and wanted to steal it from his wife. As the visitor was about to steal the pill from her, Chong e swallowed it. Later she felt lighter and lighter, and she started to float. She flew all the way to the moon. When Chang e got to the moon, she coughed up the pill, and the pill became a rabbit. The rabbit was the only companion Chang e.

In the next week, I will tell you another story about Mid-Autumn Festival.

You had a bad day at the office, or had a fight with your spouse and are having a bad day? What to do? Most people also turn to food for comfort, in times of depression. For me, there is nothing better than a good piece of chocolate. Its rich, its creamy, its smooth, and it makes us feel so-o-o-o good for a few moments of course, that is until the guilt of the calories kicks in. Chocolate happens to be one of my favorite sweets. The wonderfully creamy milk chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, white chocolate, or even my personal favorite a silky dark chocolate.
Did you know that getting a daily dose of dark chocolate may be beneficial to your health? Not only is the perfect chocolate for your sweetie on Valentine’s Day, it also may benefit your heart. The ingredients in chocolate are not only delicious, but dark chocolate and cocoa powders also contain disease-fighting antioxidants. The key to gaining the most benefits from dark chocolate is to enjoy it in moderation.

I love that even if everything in my day is going wrong, the coffee is somehow the one thing that goes completely right. And although I could go on and on about my appreciation for the drink itself, what I love most is that I can invite friends and loved ones to share in a coffee experience with me.
In our discussion, at least 2 benefits of coffee as follows:

1. coffee helps to burn fat in humans. The caffeine contained within coffee can affect the speed in which the brain releases stimulants. These chemicals also have effects on the central nervous system, which can cause body fat to break down into the bloodstream in the form of fatty acids, which has its own benefits.
2. Coffee has bee used as a natural hair dye and turn your light hair darker or give your naturally dark hair a healthy glow. Someone may ask the chemicals in coffee are known to cause cancer. However, it is equally important to note that this all-natural coffee method of coloring your air does not do damage to your hair, and it can even strengthen it. This mixture also helps grow your hair more quickly and can read in the 2007 issue of international Journal of Dermatology.

Red Bead Soup is my favorite dessert, and cook alternative week.
Red bean soup is a popular Chinese dessert mostly in China, Taiwan, and southeast Asia. In Chinese, it also called Hong dou tang (玅豆æčŻ). It's categorized as dessert, tang shui (çł–æ°Ž). And, it literally translated as sugar water or sweet soup. Normally, red bean soup serves as cold during summer, and hot in winter. Often, it serves as a dessert at the end of Chinese restaurant meal or banquet.
The receipes are Red Beans, Dried Tangerine Peel, Rock Sugar and water.
Put red beans, dried tangerine peel and water into pressure cooker manual for 45 minutes at high pressure. After that quickly release the pressure, open the lid add 3/4 cup of rock sugar or brown sugar (add sweet to your taste)
If you like it, please give me some courage😜
