The Market returns to Memorial Plaza tomorrow from 8:30 AM–1:00 PM. 🌾

There is something miraculous about a farmers market.

In the heart of our village, for just a few hours each Saturday, the work of countless hands comes together in one place. Strawberries, flowers, vegetables, milk, butter, bread, bagels, and so much more. Each the result of countless hours of labor, experience, favorable weather, healthy soil, and no small measure of hope.

The abundance before us can make us forget how much must go right for it to exist at all.

We hope you’ll join us tomorrow for our favorite weekly ritual: farmers, food artisans, and neighbors gathering in the heart of Pleasantville to share in the season’s abundance.

The Market returns to Memorial Plaza tomorrow from 8:30 AM–1:00 PM. 🌾

To eat with the seasons here is no hardship. It’s a year-round pleasure.

But June is when everything begins to gather momentum. The strawberries are here. The first heirloom tomatoes have begun to arrive, full of color and promise. Sugar snap peas are sweet and crisp. And there is much more still to come.

To eat this way, with the season and not against it, takes a certain commitment. But this time of year, with such abundance at hand, it feels almost effortless.

We are fortunate to live in a region rich in farms, and richer still in the variety they produce. To eat well, close to home, in the company of neighbors and the very hands that feed us, is one of the great fortunes of living in our little corner of the world.

We hope you’ll join us.

One of the joys of shopping at a farmers market is discovering products that can only exist for a brief moment in the season. Our vendors are constantly inspired by what’s fresh, local, and at its peak, transforming the harvest into something entirely new.

A perfect example is Live Vessel’s seasonal Blush Cashew Mylk, a creamy, dreamy plant-based treat crafted in small batches with fresh organic strawberries from Norwich Meadows Farm. Made with sprouted organic cashews, maple syrup, vanilla bean, and a touch of rose water, Blush captures the sweet flavor of strawberry season in a bottle. 🍓

It’s a refreshing reminder that some of the best market finds are only available for a short time.

Pre-order by Friday at 1:00 PM to guarantee yours for Saturday pickup at the Market.
