This Saturday's Bread Bonanza! Come one, come all to the Polo Farmers Market. My Rye bread was so good, it sold before it cooled down!
I take orders, but don't snooze, Wednesdays are the cutoff days. Order your favorite bread and I'll have it ready by next Saturday.
I've got a slew of savory and sweet treats cooking up, thanks to Aggy, my trusty poolish sidekick, who's proving all my crazy ideas are genius.

This will be the last week our vegetable plants will be available......broccoli (a few), eggplant (a few), peppers (jalapeno, sweet), and tomatoes (pretty good variety) are still available. $.50 each. Mike just harvested 4 lbs. of garlic scapes. Two lbs. are spoken for...two lbs. remaining. Interested, let me know ($4 per lb.).

We are all so thankful for the rain. With that being said, we are watching the weather for Thursday's market. As of this morning, the weather does not look like it will cooperate. We will keep you informed. (Luckily, Saturday's market weather looks perfect!)

Good morning! This week I won't be in Polo at farmers market, my husband is going to do some garden and greenhouse work that needs to be done this week. I still will be set up Wednesday and Saturday mornings at Dixon Farmers Market.
