This may be a Baking Page....but I do share what I do and is my passion and other things in m my life

While I was awaiting pick up for the Easter Family Meal Giveaways with help from my generous donors.

I was making and rolling Stuffed Cabbage, Golapki, Holubky..
Whichever your family called it for my family for Easter.

36 Rolls and with each one...I thought of my Mama.
Even cooking them in her 1960's Stand Roaster.

Love cooking for the holidays

I am beyond Grateful & Blessed for each and every one of you who believe in this mission.

Coolers will be in place to drop off.

So I have all in order to see what I have prior to Giveaways.

20 Families have now been met and 130.00 (of you feel led) to meet 25.00 Families for Easter remains.

All Donations are Volunteer.

Update as of 12:45 p.m 3/23/26

We need 280.00 for 20 families & 480.00 for 25 families to be fed.

My goal as usual is 20 families with 25 being the additional 5 I strive for every holiday.

This will include 30.00 Giftcard for Aldi & 10.00 will be for the Ham so 40.00 per family.

Good Afternoon Faulkner Famous Foods Family.

Just wanted to get on here and let everyone know who normally donates for my Needy Family Boxes or to possible new Volunteer donors.

I usually do not take the donation off my total until I receive them physically.
Due to the fact some may forget or have wonderful intentions but had something unexpected happen and now can't.
This time I went ahead and stated we had met 20 families and I should have waited but I do get ecstatic when we can meet that goal.

The last few times mail service from everywhere has been a real issue it seems.

Our mail now goes to Illinois from Portage and then back to us..taking longer and longer which is really sad.
I had a check come from near Carmel Indiana in 4 days quicker than any Portage mail has ever done.
One last time took 10 days.
Now two are at 17 days & 10 again with no arrival of funds.

Keep in mind I will always message you if and when I receive the check or Monies or Ham or Giftcards.
I will Thank those on my platforms and personally.

From now on I am asking if you write a check and are within reasonable distance.
To drop inside my mailbox after 2 p.m (my mail runs at 11) or if it's GCards or Hams Meet for pick up or we will pick up.

All monies, Gcards to Aldi or Hams are due to me by 31st so I may purchase the items needed for pick up day.
I do not promise anything to anyone selected or offer until I know what I will have to offer and how many I can support.

I have so many generous friends that believe in my missions to help support our local communities and Veterans, Disabled, Elderly, Shut In's, Unexpected Illness or Hospitalizations etc.
I make sure everyone is Thanked etc individually and on here.

There is a particular person that I do not tag that always goes above and beyond and kicks it over the top.
I do not mention them because I know as a Business owner they would maybe like to be able choose whom they donate to and I understand.
So Grateful & Blessed.
I've known them forever (shows my age lol) and the friendship and heart they have is beyond.

Update on Easter Collections for Families.
We have had another generous Donor and the 20 Families have been covered.
So the amount for 20 Families is 0.

If anyone wishes to donate for the balance of 25 Families that would be 200.00.

Remember AS ALWAYS it is strictly VOLUNTEER every single year and holiday.

All Monies , Hams, Gift Cards need to be to me by 3/31/26.
That way I can purchase all items not provided and distribute the week of Easter.
