Growing up in Northeastern Oregon, our founder Madeline spent a lot of time outside playing sports, experimenting in the kitchen, and paying attention to how food made her feel.

Over time, that curiosity turned into training, testing, and early protein bar prototypes made right in her own kitchen.

With a background in biology and biotech, science became part of the process too.

Dune came from the intersection of all of it: real ingredients, functional nutrition, and a better way to fuel everyday life.
