We need to talk about margarita night. 🍹🧂

A couple weekends ago a customer grabbed 2 bags of our Hot Aji Mango Pepper Salt to rim margarita glasses for girls’ night — and the whole group raved about it so much she came back for more. So obviously we had to test it ourselves. 🍸

Verdict: slightly spicy, almost fruity salt + tequila (and a splash oh Hennesy) + lime and orange = pure magic. This one’s staying in the rotation for good. 🥂

Today? Worm food. 🪱💚

We’re pulling back the curtain (well, the compost) on one of our favorite parts of the zero-waste operation — vermiculture. Every scrap you see in this video is getting turned into rich, living compost that goes right back into our garden beds. Scraps in, soil out, next season’s ingredients fed. That’s the loop.

None of this happens at this scale without Slow Food Atlanta’s Good Food Grant 🙌 — funding our composting + vermiculture infrastructure from day one. Multiple worm bins, a full composter, and a whole lot of squiggling going on back there.

Meet our zeolite — the honeycombed rocks that live inside our trickle generator and give the vinegar bacteria room to work. We spread them out to dry so the coating that builds up during fermentation releases easier, which makes cleanup way simpler before the next batch goes back in. Not glamorous. A little slimy. Exactly how the good stuff gets made. 🐌➡️🍾

Basically: we scrub rocks so your vinegar doesn’t have to be boring. 😤🔥
