Apologies to all the Crazy Lad patrons and supporters for the delay on this message... As a great deal of you know, we were recently shutdown by the city of Raleigh. I would love to extend my gratitude to the years and years of loyal followers who supported us and kept the "Crazy" name alive and booming. We were delighted to be your #1 Produce stop in the greater North Raleigh area for over ten years! I would also love to acknowledge the public support and outcry surrounding the unjust shutdown of the business. The little guys need to start holding the big bad commissions and city authorities accountable for their illogical and irrational rulings and fine print legislations. Never stop fighting and don't let anyone big or small ever step on your basic human rights! ... As of right now we do not have any plans to re-open. It would be next summer at the earliest if we find a new location / outlet due to the expenses and demands of the business. The Crazy Lad's Produce pages will remain active so please keep the subscriptions on Facebook and Next Door. If there are any plans or changes in the future these will be the first places we post to. Thank you again for all the support!

Crazy Lad's Produce Stand is very sad to inform everyone that this will be our last week open, as the city of Raleigh is shutting us down over zoning permits. Early last month the zoning commission received a complaint that we were a commercial business selling out of a vacant lot. After trying tirelessly to obtain the proper permits to be here we have been informed that there is no way for us to stay at this location. We unfortunately will not be relocating to another spot as I am unsure of what sort of issues we would encounter there and having to embrace the difficulty of starting over in a new location. Please come on out and tell your friends and neighbors that everything on site is for sale. Produce, pallets, display tables, bus tubs, tarps, the tent, the trailer, my cargo van, coolers, and basically everything within the site is up for grabs to make my transition out easier as I don't have anywhere to put all of this stuff. Come on out and take a look and make me an offer! Thank you for years of patronage Crazy Lad's (formerly Crazy Lady's) is eternally grateful for over a decade of loyal patrons!

Crazy Lad's has all your fresh produce needs! New this week by popular demand are our Local Grade AA Brown Eggs! My personal favorite, Giant Elephant Garlic is also back as well as fresh Italian Garlic.... Kale, Bi-Color Corn, Seeded Melons, Peaches, Blueberries, Squash, Zuccini, and much more are plentiful this afternoon. All Natural Pearl Onions, Eggplant, Green Beans, and Peppers courtesy of Heyward farms are also now available! Come on out and see us!
