My living room and kitchen are full of flowers! I still have some to get to either tonight or tomorrow morning. Scaling up has been a good thing, but harvesting sure takes longer! Looking forward to seeing you either at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market in Jonesboro or the Spring River Farmers Market in Cherokee Village Saturday morning! It's going to be great!

This is my kitchen at the moment - we have a group staying out here in my building where I normally do flowers, so I had to move the bucket washing party up here. 🤣 I still have buckets to wash, but I'm taking a break. 😁Tomorrow all of these buckets will be full of flowers.
We've been so fortunate to host a few different groups from Iowa over the past month and a half. They are using our facility for crisis-response training. They have willingly tackled all sorts of projects, but most notably they are working on tornado cleanup for us. With well over 100 acres destroyed by two tornadoes, this has been an ongoing project for us. We're so thankful for strangers who have given up their time to serve us. What a blessing! We still have another work week coming up, so I'll keep moving stuff between my house and my multipurpose building!

So many beautiful flowers again this week! My friend, Robin, is manning the booth at Spring River Farmers Market in Cherokee Village tomorrow morning, and I'll be in Jonesboro at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market . Hope you stop by and restock your house with gorgeous flowers!

I've been meaning to pull this volunteer pumpkin plant that popped up a couple of weeks ago. Now I have pumpkins already growing on the vine and I can't bring myself to pull it. This is the life of a flower farmer - always too much to do!!

Life is full of tragedy and heartache. I'm always thankful that I can come to my garden to work. I connect with God in a special way when I'm immersed in his beautiful creation. This week we start the Spring River Farmers Market in Cherokee Village - Asa and Philip will be set up there. I'll be set up at the Judd Hill Farmers' Market in Jonesboro. Hope we get to see you there - looking forward to a great time!
