Molly's Lalaloopsy cake! I typically NEVER use plastic characters on a cake, but 1. they were part of her presents and 2. when you make a cake entirely from scratch (including marshmallow fondant) and don't start until 7:30pm -- once 1am rolls around, the last thing you want to be making is fondant characters!

(sorry for the flash photo -- finished the cake when it was dark out and it was still dark when we cut into it -- birthday cake for breakfast!!)

The cake I made for my sister's wedding yesterday! Tiers were chocolate, yellow and key lime all covered in vanilla buttercream... yum!

Cake stands are really difficult to pack and move. Might have to take a hiatus on building my collection!
