Been kinda quiet on here lately, but life’s been BUSY! Between Bible School, baseball, fair, farm work, regular work, vacation, and getting ready for school to start there hasn’t been a spare moment.

Some days raising cattle can be so frustrating. This red white face baby was born almost 3 weeks ago. We were in the pasture shortly after she was born. We tagged her and she was up and going good. We had not seen her again since, until tonight. I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent looking for this calf over the last 3 weeks, but it’s a lot. Eventually I gave up and decided something happened to her. Nope. She’s been hiding this whole time probably laying in the grass watching me ride all over creation looking for her. I was super happy to see her alive and well tonight though.

✨It’s our favorite time year✨

Baby calves are hitting the ground right and left in this beautiful sunshine! I even caught a bunch of them yawning while they were sunning themselves. Zeke’s cow even had her baby today. He’s been waiting very impatiently.

Meet the newest members of our family Maverick and Tess! We hope these 2 will grow into good help around the farm with the cattle. The boys are already in love with them and Zeke has their daily schedule all written out!
