And closer to home, Gregg Allman chose Richmond Hill, Georgia, for the same reason a lot of us do — a little more quiet, a little more space, a better pace.
When he played the local Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival, he did it for our community — no fee — and as he finished “Midnight Rider,” the fireworks hit and the crowd went crazy!
Around here, he wasn’t just a legend. He was our neighbor.
