Ini Mini Cakes

Ini Mini Cakes This is my story, now is my moment… I’ll laugh, I’ll sing and I’ll BAKE. I started baking a few years ago. I specialize in Cupcakes and specialty cakes.

Believe it or not, I was the type to burn everything but all of a sudden, something in my head clicked and I’ve been baking these little delicacies since! I believe that food is a medium for us to share ourselves with others. Being able to express myself in my baking has become an important aspect of my life, as well as, seeing the joy in others when they experience something made with my own two

hands. My family calls me Ini at home as a pet name and I just found out that my grandmother used to bake cakes a lot before she passed away and so some time in the future, I hope to open my own bakery and call it “Ini Mini Cakes.”

In Bangladesh, when we visited my grandma, one thing she always used to give us was toast biscuits with guava jam. This cake was in memory of that. It is a guava cake with guava buttercream frosting.

Charcuterie board was also made by us! It included many different types of cheese, dried mango and apricots, variety of nuts, beef sausage, fig jam, naranja jam from Madrid and variety of crackers)

Travelling across the country makes it hard to bake a cake when you literally don't even have a baking pan. I ended up ordering a blank cake from and decorated it myself. This was for my bro-in-law and sis-in-laws baby shower. I loved putting this together for them to make their shower extra special. Thanks Safeway for giving me the opportunity to order a blank cake that I could decorate while across country ❤️

When your princess wants a princess cake, you put together a princess cake. This was something I've always wanted to do and it was so much fun to do. The sails were a new challenge that I absolutely loved doing! It added the perfect elegant touch to this princess cake. I packed a ton of flavor into this cake and it was a huge hit. There was nothing left, not even crumbs. I call that a success!! Happy 7th birthday Nyssa!!

In 2012,I made a Mario cake for my husband. I had just started the cake making journey. I am soooo happy that I've improved since then :) I made this cake for my son's 4th bday yesterday. It was blue velvet chocolate chip with a yummy cream cheese frosting. I also made stars out of chocolate and made mini cupcakes for everyone.
