All our roosters are getting close to being dispatched....

We have been working more on the homestead property and not so much with birds since it is winter but will pick up more February or March...

Happy Thanksgiving... We butchered 2 Turkeys that we hatched about 13 months ago.

Our hen was 11.7 pounds dressed and tom was 26.5 pounds dressed..

Feeding out these 2 turkeys we hatched last year and having fresh Turkey for Thanksgiving... The Tom should be about 25lbs dressed and female should be about 15lbs dressed..... We will be deep pit cooking them (Thank you 4H)... I will let you y'all know how it is cause as it is a 1st for us.

We will be focused next year to hatch alot of turkeys and sell some and freeze the others...
