ITS BEEN AWHILE! This fella made his debut at Kempf's this morning. I plan to have meat available and be at Friday June 26th. I may also make a delivery run on the 25th to Sedalia. Because of the high demand I will be limiting burger purchases to 30 lbs. Don't worry there are more steers in the pipeline and I want as many customers as possible to be able to purchase part of this one. YOU JUST CAN'T RUSH A GOOD THING! I have had so many requests for meat it has been impossible to keep track of them all so, for that reason, starting now I am accepting reservations on meat purchases. Thank you to all of you for being patient.

Here is a good example of the USA app. I just moved the VF, you can see the bright green is a heat signal of where the Beefalo steers had been grazing. The white line is the virtual fence and I just extended it more to the west (left) as you can see the white dots are the steers and they are starting to graze in that new area.

GETTING THIER VIRTUAL WORKOUT! recommends a physical fence on 3 sides and a virtual fence on one side for training. I finally have the steers in an area where I can do that. So far.....pretty good. Since they are already familiar with what that tones means, they get the tone and turn around to go back to the herd. Some are more stubborn and push thier luck but when they get the jolt they are still turning around and returning to the herd.

Finally have the steers in a better area to do training. I had a VF across this gate area yesterday and a lot of them went through it. Today none of them want to try going through it even though I have moved the VF and it is open.
