A little about us….. Porter and York has been a dream of ours for many, many years! It’s finally a reality! We would like to introduce ourselves, we are Joe and Lisa Petschl. Our family has been in the meat business since 1929 starting in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. It grew from there into a wholesale meat delivery company servicing Seattle area. 15 years ago, being the foodies we are, Joe and I
started our own company, and jumped into the “white table cloth” arena, putting together meat programs for our customers that involves aging high quality meats and portioning them to exact customer specifications. In addition to meats, Interbay Food Company brings in fresh Northwest poultry items, processing and hand cutting all items to our customer’s specifications. Seafood is purchased and delivered fresh daily. We love to go out to eat, we love to entertain at home, we just love and appreciate good food and are always amazed at the creative talents of our restaurant chefs and “home” chefs. Our friends and family have been spoiled in having access to these products for home use and we were constantly being asked “how can we get some of that great meat and seafood? Can you ship that to me? Can we get it fresh, not frozen? So….with a great desire and a passion to share our products, we spent many months developing the right meat program, researching and developing the right packaging, and diligently creating an interactive web site. Still in the throws of learning the technical aspects of starting an internet company, but determined to fill the desires of our “home” chefs, on November 5, 2013 we introduced PORTERANDYORK.COM! Fresh 30 day aged Omaha Natural Angus Beef products, Fresh Northwest Poultry along with hard to find quality lamb, veal and seafood products. All fresh beef and poultry items are processed the day you order and individually vacuum sealed for immediate use or to freeze yourself for future use. All orders processed fresh Monday thru Friday, delivered next day anywhere in the continental U.S.A.! Our goal is for everyone around the country to use this site for purchasing their everyday dinner meats and seafoods to purchasing specialty cuts for the fanciest home entertainment treats.
