Here are just SOME of the comparisons between store bought flour and freshly milled. Notice how you see zero fiber listed for store bought.. even if you’re buying unbleached, unenriched, it still has no fiber.. and fiber is essential for proper digestion!
Something I’ve not explained specifically about our baked goods is there is no refined sugar in any of it! Even in the cookies, cinnamon rolls, cosmic brownies, you name it! We use honey, coconut sugar, or unrefined, organic cane! You might ask why I share that.. well, if you’re someone who is watching sugar intake or worried about blood sugar spikes, even with our sweet treats, you have a lower chance of that huge spike because of the sweeteners we use!

Dutch Delight Farms was established in 2020 by Chet and Maria Vander Velde. We grow elderberries on our farm in NW Iowa. Although something else prompted the idea to start our little venture..it is our love of farm fresh popcorn. There is something about homegrown products and it is our hope to be able to offer good quality, homegrown products!
