 we had our last session of the May drawing faces classes this week.

Was just playing graphite, we worked on using only one pencil to bring out all the different values around the shading in the face. The second exercise was just to use one colored pencil for a monotone exercise. 

Next session starts up on June 4. Thursdays from 10:30 to 12 PM. You can drop in or sign up for the full four weeks.

In this fun & expressive acrylic painting session we'll paint animals. These guys will have charm, charisma, & character to spare!

100% beginner friendly. The goal is to let loose, enjoy the process of painting & expressing yourself.

This project could also be a gift book of love ❤️ that you make for someone else...

These are just a few of the ideas on hand!

📖I have old picture books that we'll collage over with images & quotes that inspire & motivate to... live our word of the year; to move towards a certain goal; to give someone on need of some lovin'.

Supplies provided: book, magazine & printed images; collected fabrics, 3-D objects, upcycled materials, glitter, & much more.

We'll have several hours to dive into this project!

We had a beginners exploring of oil pastels today. We tested out different brands of oil pastels, quite a few different types of paper, layering and different blending types, as well as scratching into the pastels, called sgraffito work… Everyone learned a lot and had a really great time. I think we’ll be scheduling some more of these classes!
