Whew! I have been very busy last week and this week getting ready for the Springhill Farmers Market this Saturday. There are some fruits that are just now coming into season so I have been looking out for them. On Saturday I will have the following fruit made into preserves, jams, and/or jellies.

FIGS
MAYHAW
PURPLE HULL PEA HULL
PEARS
STRAWBERRIES
BLUEBERRY
PEACH
PEPPER PEACH
PEPPER
BLACKBERRY

I have SALSA VERDE and plan to make RED SALSA tomorrow (my peppers finally ripened up). Plus I made CHOW-CHOW and PICKLED OKRA

Come see me this Saturday along with all the other wonderful vendors that will be set up from 9-1 at the Springhill Farmers Market pavilion.

I am still in central Texas. Today my DIL and I picked some figs and more Mustang grapes. Then we had to go to Austin so I found and purchased 16 more pounds of figs! These figs will all be turned into preserves. Wanted to make sure I had enough, hahaha. See you all next Saturday at the Springhill Farmers Market!
