If you know me personally, you know I've been training for a long bike trip that is taking up a good bit of my time. But I've still been making things in my spare time - production has just been a bit slower. I hope you enjoy my new offerings. Five years ago, I wondered if it would be possible to make my own candle jars. Sometimes ideas simmer quietly in the back of your mind for a while. That's sort of what happened with this one. Finally, in early 2024 I signed up for a string of introductory pottery courses and quickly realized that this was going to take some time 😆. Here we are now in v. late 2025. I've been selling my candles at the local farmers market and people seem to really enjoy the uniqueness of them. Since most of the folks who follow me on fb are the OG crew, I wanted to make some available to you as well. I've got a handful listed on my website right now. They'll only be there until Wednesday, December 17th, when I'll take any remaining down in preparation for my final holiday market on the 20th. I will be restocking the website after the holidays. Hope you are all well; I think of my hometown often and smile knowing you are back there supporting and taking good care of each other, just like you always took such good care of me. 💜

It’s my off-season, which basically means I’m taking a break from my typical makes to avoid burnout and catch up on all tasks related to my day job and personal life. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Indoor Market today. It was my single best day EVER. I spoiled myself and grabbed some pottery from the insanely talented Sherwoods (Sherwood Clay & Wood Designs) as well as my veggie staples from Carpenter Landscaping and Farm (who is also apparently a ginger magician. Look at those!). Again, thank you! So very much appreciated.

Holidays are upon us and if you’re considering shopping local, I’m grateful for you! With a full time job and my youngest who is now a senior in high school, my free time waxes and wanes. Get your pre-orders in early to account for all this supply-chain chaos. I will be at St. Mary’s Hall this Sunday for the Indoor Market and I will be fully stocked! 9a-2p with ample parking, it’s the best time to visit all your local small businesses. Keep it low stress this season and enjoy! 🍂
