I have quite a few updates for the upcoming shipping season. LONG read ahead! 👇

🤎 BCM UPDATE: I recently lost my main BCM rooster who was over my Bloomy ladies. However, I was lucky enough to pick up another beautiful BCM boy from C & C Homestead, and he is out of Hickman Homestead & Micro Hatchery lines! I’m extremely excited to see what this pairing produces. Starting in September, I’ll be doing test hatches with him to check fertility before offering these babies.

🩵 BLUE PEN: I recently created a Blue pen using Silverudd, Silverudd x Ameraucana, Pure Ameraucana, and my Frizzled Silverudd projects. These will produce both heterozygous and homozygous blue layers. I’ll be testing the waters with this pen based on the number of orders I receive to determine if it will become a permanent part of my breeding program.

💚 SILVERUDD PEN: My Silverudd pen is now completely pure, and only heterozygous and homozygous blue layers will come from this pen. I’m constantly working to improve my lines and eventually create a homozygous pen, it just takes time! 🫶🏼

💖 SILKIES: I am no longer breeding Silkies.
They will now remain as pets and natural incubators. 😉

📦 FALL SHIPPING: I am looking at shipping pre-orders and actively taking NEW orders beginning the 2nd week of September. I’ll make a post with all the details as soon as we get closer!

Please keep in mind that shipping rates may change as I’m still ironing out some things that I feel will best benefit everyone.

💻 WEBSITE: I’ll be working on updating my website with all of these new changes so that all information is available there. For now, orders are still being accepted through Messenger.

👩‍🏫 AND FINALLY… It’s that time of year again school has started back up, which means I’ll be extremely busy with my real job! 😂 Please be patient with me and know that I am NOT ignoring you. I promise I will get back to everyone as soon as I possibly can!

Of course, all things are subject to change, as I’m working with living beings and ultimately, I’m on their time!
