Snowshoe Valley Farms, located at Slatyfork, located at 38234 Seneca Trail, Slatyfork, WV, is a Pocahontas County localized agricultural company. We have a mission to stimulate and diversify the health of the community and strength of the economy by increasing local supply and availability of agricultural products with a consignment farmers market and agritourism center. Our farmers' consignment market, being a consistent place for goods & produce, will stabilize and increase the demand for local goods, which in turn will increase the availability for supply, giving the rural community the ability to reach further away to purchase and bring to our community from larger and further agricultural markets. Our mission is to diversify the economy with the opportunity to blend the two biggest industries of our county, agriculture and tourism, in creating an agritourism center. An agritourism & cultural center is a place where the agricultural community, tourism community, and our general public can learn, teach, and/or practice in educational, recreational, entertainment, viewing, and/or enjoying rural activities.
