**July Farmstand Changes**
Due to a decline in customer demand over the past few months, our business has experienced significant financial strain.
We are no longer generating sufficient revenue from egg sales to cover the cost of feed. The current market is saturated with egg producers, resulting in an oversupply of eggs, which has negatively impacted our business. It costs roughly $330-400 a month to feed and keep our flocks secure and healthy.
Sadly, we aren't bringing in more than $50 a month with eggs sales. With that being said, maintaining a large flock is no longer economically viable.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the loyalty of our customers.
We will be reducing our flock size and prioritizing our own needs; any surplus eggs will be made available for sale.
We will still stock the Farmstand Friday-Sunday with any extra eggs available to sell, so be sure to check for posts when we have eggs!!
Also, we will still have canned goods and veggies in the Farmstand this Summer Friday-Sunday.
**We are still available for Farm work such as Bush Hogging, Firewood and Hay.**
