As our last market of the season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you.
First, to Jen at Flora & Fauna Farm for volunteering countless hours to organize the market (while also working full time, farming, and being a mom) - and to her husband Jim, who spent every Wednesday morning setting up the market and putting up signs. To Regina Packard, who has held down the SNAP Match & Market Manager booth for the past three years with nothing but WAY too much excitement to be here (We don't know WHAT we would do without her!!). To all of our incredible vendors who showed up through long, hot (and sometimes slow) days to share their passion and their products.
And most importantly — to you, our customers. You came back week after week to support small farms and local artists. Farmers’ markets are so much more than a place to grab veggies. They’re about keeping food local, making connections, telling stories, learning from each other, and supporting the small farms and businesses who often start here before growing into something bigger. None of this would be possible without you showing up.
