This probably looks like a random mundane photo but this is what life is about. As chore time comes around 1 poor soul of my two boys often has to forsake the comfort of tv and gaming to go with dad. It’s the same every single time. “Y do I have to go !!” And yet eeevvvery single time they find joy in what we are doing. As we were feeding some hay, my youngest noticed 3 rows of corn 150 yards long, still standing in the field. This was left for crop insurance purposes but what he saw was a corn maze. I stop for a short moment and watched my little buddy dash through the two little rows of corn. And then pick him self a souvenir to take home. And it dawned on me, We need to stop once in a while and admire the simple things in life. A stupid simple little break lead to a great memory. So get your kids into nature, farming, hunting, Whatever you enjoy and they will show you things that you forget. That’s what we try to recreate here at Mountain View Meats. A distant memory of how it used to be ; brought to life with modern amenities, How grandma and grandadaddy did it !
