It has been a fantastic honey season for us this year! Come check out the farmers market at D2 Sports Pub - Hobart tomorrow from 11-3 where we will be selling honey and talking bees! Every time we extract honey throughout the year it tastes different depending on the nectar the bees are gathering. We have samples so you can taste the difference for yourself and get your favorite honey!

Quacker's Honey Farm is going to be one of the vendors Thursday night at the Backyard Brew market! Weather looks like it is going to be a beautiful night to come grab a drink, support the local vendors and listen to some music!

One week. 🌻

Our FIRST Backyard Market & Brews opens up Thursday, July 23rd, 4pm–Dusk. 30+ local vendors, cold Wisconsin-made beer, and Josh Berton playing live all night long.

And it's not just the market. The full bar's open all evening too, so grab a seat inside for pool, darts, or a game of bags between vendor stops. Can't make it to the event? Backyard Brew has events going on every day. You can't get bored at this place.

Here's the plan: if this one goes the way we think it will, Backyard Market & Brews becomes a weekly thing. Same lawn, rotating vendors, and possibly live music every time. This first one sets the tone so lets make this HUGE.

We had a great time at the Brown County Beekeepers Association summer picnic the other day. Bennett won a raffle for a kids bee suit so he can start helping with the bees next year!

One of the highlights of our Summer Picnic had to be seeing Chris and Krista DeWolfe’s future beekeepers stealing the show!

Big brother Bennett was the lucky winner of the youth beekeeping suit, generously donated by Ed Poillion, and we think it’s safe to say he’s ready for his very first hive inspection. 😍🐝

And with the recent arrival of baby Colton, the DeWolfe family has officially expanded their queen-rearing program into beekeeper rearing! 😂

Congratulations to Chris, Krista, Bennett, and Colton. We can’t wait to watch these young beekeepers grow up alongside the Brown County Beekeepers Association. The future of BCBA is looking pretty bright! 💛🐝🌻

Hives are getting heavy with honey again! Nearly time for our second extraction of the year. Can tell that we will be needing to build more honey supers for next year!

Look at all those beautiful queen cells! Most of the queens from the last round have been used in our apiary or sold but there are still a couple left if anyone is in need. It will be a few weeks yet before this round is ready and we can verify they are laying well.
