Did you know…
green garlic is just young garlic harvested before the bulb fully forms?

It has a much milder, fresher flavor than cured garlic...somewhere between garlic and a green onion, which means you can use the whole thing: stalk, bulb, and all!

Sauté it, grill it, toss it into eggs, or blend it into something bright and punchy.

Radishes for breakfast?
Honestly… why not.

French Breakfast Radishes are here! Crisp, peppery, and making us feel like we should be eating them with butter and a baguette like we know what we're doing. 🥖

The first harvest always feels like a little preview of what’s coming… and if this is any indication, it’s going to be a flavorful season.

In the spirit of the weekend...we were wondering where the term "couch potato" came from (naturally). 🥔

Did you know it was actually coined in the 1970s and then popularized in the 80's by a cartoonist who used it to describe lounging in front of the TV like a potato sprouting on the couch—and it stuck!

It's giving...farm-to-sofa?

Here’s to potatoes of all kinds… freshly dug or happily reclining this weekend to beat the heat.

Anyone else look at Chinese long beans like the garden’s version of hair extensions? No? Just us? 🤔

These elegant beauties cascade from beautiful lavender colored blossoms like leafy glam queens. They’re tender, crisp, and cook up fast in stir-fries or sautés.

Harvested young at 12–18", they’re basically nature’s noodles.
