Hi everybody! I wanted to put the word out... over the 4th of July weekend I sold a few jars of Safe Salve from my latest batch, freshly made on the morning of the 2nd. It turned out my scale was malfunctioning and the salve didn't get the proper amount of wax. If you bought a jar from me that never solidified, message me so I can make it right! Here are a few shots of the taper dipping process. Three pair are dipped at once on the rack until they are a little over half finished. Then they are cut off of the rack... all the short leftover wick ends get straightened out and become wicks for little floaters. The tapers get finished in single pairs until they are the right size.
