Passing on a message from our friends at Peachy Keen Arizona’s website and page.

Dear Friends, We here at Peachy Keen love that we can bring you fresh Utah peaches most years. As you know we have developed a reputation for bringing the highest quality and best tasting Utah Peaches and Fruit to our communities here in Arizona.

Unfortunately this year the weather has not cooperated and a freeze has destroyed this years fruit crop in Utah. This does happen from time to time. We could try to find other sources for this year, but if their fruit turned out inferior that would really hurt our feelings.

So we apologize, we will most likely not have fruit this year. Please check back here on our page or on our website PeachyKeenArizona.com throughout the rest of this summer 2026, for updates just in case some fruit does come available. Also Let’s all prey for a productive year next year. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The Peachy Keen Family.

We have been selling our peaches on the roadsides in Snowflake and Taylor for nine years and counting! We see many of you year after year, and hope that continues long into the future. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you every peach season, sharing the best quality fruit tha....

I just wanted to give some pointers for better tasting juice and a faster, juicing experience, for next year, of course.

Most years we get the press ready about the time the temperature drops close to freezing. After we get a first little frost, most of the apples are going to be about a sweet as they can be. Ideally, you would pick your apples in the cool of the morning while the Frutos is still in the fruit protecting it from the cold. Also, there’s no need to put the picked apples in the garage or in the house over night unless it’s really going to freeze hard. Having the cool from the night on the apples when we press it makes the juice that much better.
Also, there’s not much difference in the juice from apples off the ground as there is from Apple Straight off the tree. what can change the flavor of the juice is too many leaves and large stems. A small apple stem is no big deal but a piece of branch or something that has leafs on it Can make the juice a little bitter if there’s a lot of them. Also it makes no difference if the apples are bruised or have blemishes when we put them through the grinder. If you are particular about your apple juice and would like to remove any blemished apples and stems, please do so before you arrive for your appointment. All I have is a simple bath for removing the dust and then it’s straight into the grinder.

Well, we started at 7:30 this morning and we just finished at 6 o’clock now we pressed right about 250 gallons today.
If anyone else is interested in pressing, please contact me. I need to have a few more people before I commit to another day most likely on the eighth if we do it.

THANK YOU!!!! Have a great fall!!

Well this Saturday is looking like a big pressing day!! If you too are out there and would like to press apples this year we need to hear from you! We could press again on the 8th if we have enough interest.
In order to help anyone who has apples to press let me explain a bit how it works. It takes us a couple hours to set up, and a few more to wash and clean everything when we are finished, whether we pres 5 gallons (7 minutes) or 300gallons (5 hours). So to make it worth our time and effort larger amounts of apples per day are better.
But we want to press for those who dont have truckloads of apples too. So If you have 50 gallons of apples (10 five gallon buckets) or less, we like to bunch groups of you together, keeping your apples and juice separate of course, to help keep the press going without needing re prepared and set up multiple times. This means we need to know how many groups there are to best organize and coordinate. Hope that explanation helps some. Thanks hope to see you soon!!!
