Sautéed Curried Shrimps.
1lb fresh Gulf Shrimps, shelled and de-veined.
1/4 cup vegetable oil.
1 finely chopped medium sized onion.
1 tblsp ginger-garlic paste.
2 tblsp tomato paste.
4 cloves, 4 cardomums, 2" cinnamon broken into bits.
2 tsps The Mohan Curry Blend.
1 tsp The Mohan Chile Blend.
1 tsp salt.
3/4 cup water.
Fresh chopped cilantro to garnish.
Heat oil on high heat. Add whole spices. Saute onions till golden brown. Lower heat, add ginger-garlic paste. Add tomato paste, salt, Curry Blend, Chile Blend. Blend well. Add shrimp and 3/4 cup water. On medium heat, cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently.
Switch off heat. Transfer to serving dish. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.
Enjoy with spinach rice and sautéed mushrooms.
