Memorable Cakes for Memorable Moments My name is Matt Fagan. I've had a passion for art all my life. Apparently, television doesn't rot your brain after all.

At the age of twelve, I began taking woodcarving lessons and have been carving birds and learning various artistic techniques on my own ever since. I graduated from Schenectady County Community College in 1998 with a degree in Culinary Arts. Shortly after college I found a job as an artist, and for the past decade I've had the opportunity to develop my skills in carving, sculpting, painting and ai

rbrushing.It wasn't until I saw my first episode of 'Ace of Cakes,' where they made a subway car cake covered in graffiti, that my eyes were opened to the amazing possibilities of cake as an artistic medium. In the future, I'm looking forward to developing new techniques and making some incredible cakes!
