Tomorrow is the big day. City Wide Garage Sales. We will be at the Community Center in Aurora selling our famous Porketta Sandwiches and Smoked Brats. Bring your appetite. We should be set up and ready to serve by about 11AM

Nashwauk Market will be at the Aurora Community Center on May 21 with porketta sandwiches and smoked brats ready to eat. We will also be delivering meats and other groceries on that day. We are excited to participate in the Aurora Community Garage Sales this year. We will be selling lunch at the Community Center. Starting about 11am we will have brats and porketta sandwiches. Stop by and see us. If you would like to place a meat order for the grill give us a call 218-885-1447.

Tomorrow is the big day all bids must be submitted for the new market in Aurora. Watch for more in formation in the next couple weeks as we wade through the construction quotes. Until then remember Nashwauk Market (218-885-1447) is still delivering up to Aurora on Thursdays. Otherwise stop by our sister store in Eveleth. I told you guys I would update when we had something to update....... Last week we had a group of contractors go through the building and we hope to receive construction bids.

Thank you all for being patient as we navigate the waters of building a new grocery store for you in Aurora. We have not updated in a while because we had nothing to report.

The rumor out there is true, Ben DeNucci (Partner with Aurora Market) and his wife Kelly have purchased Eveleth IGA.

This purchase does not change anything in Aurora. I am happy to announce that this week we met with the architects and are almost ready to send the project out for construction bids.

Aurora Market plans are alive and well and we continue to move forward as planned. Our mission of independently owned small town grocery stores is alive and well. The purchase of the IGA in Eveleth by Ben is a testament to our commitment to creating a model that works for the community.

One more hurdle cleared this week. The asbestos has been abated in the building and the architectural firm will be going out for construction bids shortly. We have been getting lots of questions about when/if we are going to open.

The asbestos was a big hurdle to clear, our team has continued to work on construction documents and scopes of work for the bid package. Hopefully more news to keep coming in November.

Thanks for your patience and excitement around this store. We are excited to get rolling on it.

This weekend we fielded a lot of questions about when we will be opening the store in Aurora.

I wanted to put something out hear to clear up the rumors about the soon to be Aurora Market.

We are still working through the construction process and hope to have a better idea of a time line in the coming weeks.

Once the asbestos abatement happens things should start moving forward.

We truly appreciate the way the Aurora Community has welcomed us and can not wait to be there full time.

We are still planning on opening the store and if anyone tells you different they didn't hear it from our leadership team.
