Aaron started with the history of the farmland and the farming practices he initiated for land revitalization. 🚜 New Funding Opportunity for Franklin County Agribusinesses! 🌾

Exciting news for small farms, value-added producers, and agritourism businesses in Franklin County! The Franklin County Legislature and Franklin County Economic Development Corporation have partnered to launch the Frontier Harvest Fund — a brand new grant program designed to help local agricultural businesses grow and thrive.

Eligible start-ups and existing businesses can apply for $5,000–$35,000 in grant funding to support equipment, furniture, livestock & inventory, marketing, salaries, and hardware & software. The program opens on Monday, November 3, 2025, and interested businesses should complete the online eligibility form by Friday, December 5, 2025.
