Our potatoes are starting to blossom!

We have officially hit what they call Tuber Initiation (Days 50–70)

What happens: Tiny tubers the size of peas or golf balls begin to form underground at the ends of underground stems (stolons). The plant may also produce white, purple, or pink flowers during this time. As you can tell if you zoom in on our field here, our plants are producing white flowers.

This is the most crucial time for consistent watering. 🌱💦🥔
