🍋 YBR Kids Squeeze Out a Big Win! 🏆

Help us congratulate Young Bible Readers—Shemar, Aydon, Eden and Benjamin—on earning national second runner-up honors in Lemonade Day’s Youth Entrepreneur of the Year awards! 🎉

These siblings have grown with Lemonade Day Waco for several years, earning local awards including Best in Taste and Best Business Pitch. They also bring their entrepreneurial spirit to youth expos and business pop-ups, selling lemonade, handmade buttons, bracelets and more!

Working together in their family business, they’re building financial literacy, teamwork and business skills. Proud parents John and Saundrea Bible, co-owners of Bible & Sovereign Partners Financial Services, have helped nurture that entrepreneurial spirit every step of the way. 💛

With Lemonade Day reaching 116 communities across the United States, Canada and Bermuda, this national recognition gives Waco plenty to celebrate!

👏 Help us congratulate YBR Kids in the comments!

🎨🖌️Aydon’s Grid Project journey has officially begun!

Today, Aydon joined 77 other young artists at the Cameron Park Zoo Education Center for the start of an exciting 4–6 week journey with The Grid Project, presented by A Beautiful Message.

Each student will create their own piece that will ultimately become part of a beautiful collaborative mural at Cameron Park Zoo, celebrating the wildlife, plants, culture, and natural beauty of South America. 🌿🦜

We’re grateful to the founders, organizers, and artist Vincent Thomas and BLACCENT for giving young people an opportunity to create, collaborate, and leave their mark on our Waco community.

We’re excited to follow Aydon throughout this journey! 💚🎨 Be on the lookout for updates from our YBR Kid!

Yesterday Shemar attended the 2026 Heart of Texas College Fair at Baylor University Mark & Paula Hurd Welcome Center!🎓

With a few schools already at the top of his list, Shemar took the opportunity to connect with college representatives, explore private Christian universities that align with his faith and educational goals, and learn more about opportunities to grow academically and spiritually.

As a student musician, he also had plenty of questions about marching bands, music programs, and scholarship opportunities for both scholars and musicians! 🥁🎶

We believe it’s never too early to start gathering the information you need to build the future you envision! Ask questions, explore your options, discover your gifts, and trust God to guide your steps.

Since we were toddlers, grocery trips to H-E-B often meant getting to pick out a new book too! We’d choose our own, take it home, and that night it became our bedtime story. As we grew, those books were passed down and the tradition kept going.

Now look at us, still stopping at the book section!😂📚📖

Our parents have always taught us that reading isn’t just something you do for school. Readers become thinkers, dreamers, leaders, and entrepreneurs. That little home library started one grocery trip at a time, but our love of reading will last a lifetime!

Thank you H-E-B for always keeping good & affordable books within reach of little readers❤️

📢Collecting has always been a YBR Kid favorite! Shemar has been collecting Pokémon cards for years, Aydon has built an awesome collection too, and now Benjamin and Eden are joining in on the fun with their own favorite sports and trading cards.

We had a great time at our first Collect Em’ on the Brazos Card Show in Waco! We traded, added to our collections, met some amazing collectors and vendors, and learned a lot along the way.

We can’t wait for the next one!🔥

We are so proud of you!!👍🏽

To our members, partners, and the Central Texas community:

After seven years of growth, transformation, and impact, I am sharing that my time as President & CEO of the Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce is coming to a close as I begin an exciting new opportunity.

Looking back to 2019, we set out to make the Chamber a cornerstone of economic opportunity. Because of your support, we did exactly that. We’ve built lasting partnerships and launched programs that change lives. While my title is changing, my commitment to serving you remains exactly the same.

I am thrilled to announce my new role as Vice President of Lending with TFNB | Your Bank for Life. In this position, I’ll continue doing what I love, helping entrepreneurs and families access the financial resources they need to succeed and grow.

I encourage you to keep supporting the Chamber’s mission and investing in the work that makes a difference for those who need it most. Thank you for an incredible seven years. The best is yet to come!
