Happy National Sourdough Bread Day from Carbo Cultivations! 🥖
Pre-orders for sourdough are currently open if you need some help celebrating such a great holiday 😉

I love sourdough (in case that wasn’t obvious) so to celebrate here are some sourdough fun facts:
🥖Did you know Sourdough is the oldest form of bread making? It dates back to 4000 BCE!
🥖Sourdough uses a living culture of lactobacteria and wild yeast, which lends to its tangy flavor.
🥖Due to the fermentation process, sourdough is considered more nutritious and easily digestible than commercial yeasted breads.

NOT THE GUMDROP BUTTONS!!
Gingerbread is a quintessential Christmas flavor for me, and this year I’m putting aside the cookie cutter for this soft pillowy sourdough gingerbread foccacia. Sweetened with molasses, and flavored with warm ginger, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg this Foccacia is a Christmas dream! Perfect enjoyed with a cup of hot cocoa or your favorite coffee, while watching the snow ❄️ fall, this sweet bread is the key to a cozy winter morning.
Grab one of these sweet treats this weekend at Eastdale’s Decemberfest where I will be with at their beautiful new studio!
