Making plans for the future. The apple, plum and pear trees are looking beautiful and growing strong. Until the orchard is ready for the public, Happy Apples Acres is sharing space with Smoke Out Candles LLC in Waupaca. The store is a boutique full of eco friendly household items, feel good beverages and treats.

Darker maple syrup is healthier than lighter maple syrup, as it includes a greater amount of minerals and antioxidants. In terms of sugar content, there is not a notable difference between lighter and darker syrups, though overall, darker syrups are the better health option in terms of nutritional value.
